Charles Sills is President of FED/Contracting LLC, a Washington DC based consulting group that assists Small Businesses in winning Govt. contracts, and teaming with larger Primes. He is a recognized advocate for Diversity Supplier access to Govt. procurement opportunities, and facilitating Federal Mentor-Protégé partnerships. He serves as a member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Council, and the Veterans Entrepreneurial Task Force (VET-Force). He also serves as the Director of Global Partnerships for the Eisenhower Memorial Commission, mandated by the U.S. Congress, where he is leading an initiative to engage Veterans groups in the Commission’s international conflict resolution and regional stabilization programs. On the international business side, he serves as Senior Advisor for International Security, Energy & Environment on the Board of the Eurasia Center/Eurasian Business Coalition, where he recently moderated panels on “Doing Business with the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China & South Africa)” and “Transforming a Continent: Infrastructure, Transportation & Energy Investment Opportunities on the New Silk Road”; and where he helps Small & Medium Businesses succeed in overseas business ventures. He is a former Naval Intelligence Officer who served in a succession of National Security positions, in the Indian Ocean/ Middle East theater and the Pentagon; followed by five years in Lockheed Martin’s International Division, where he was responsible for strategic marketing of defense, civil aviation and renewable energy systems. His education includes an M.A. from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy (Tufts and Harvard Universities); and an A.B. from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs.
