Angelique Pierce has over 16 years of experience in business strategy, pricing, project management, advertising sales, marketing, communications and management/leadership, with the last 13 of those years devoted to the automotive and trucking industries.
Since October 2015, Angelique has been acting as a consultant on behalf of Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) providing on-site coaching to Freightliner and Western Star, Elite Support certified dealers in the Northeast Region. In this role, her focus has been to help DTNA dealers improve their processes as well as identify and promote best practices that positively impact the customer experience.
From 2010 to 2015, she worked for Daimler Trucks Remarketing (DTR), the used truck division of DTNA, supporting SelecTrucks (DTR’s used truck brand and retail distribution network) and the Freightliner dealer network. She held the position of Manager of Marketing & Pricing, serving in a dual capacity as a member of the DTR Management Team which set the vision, strategy and direction of the organization.
From 2008 to 2010, Angelique worked as a Product Manager for the DTNA Aftermarket Parts organization. She managed the product offerings, pricing, distribution, and promotional strategies of a multi-million dollar portfolio of proprietary Freightliner, Sterling and Western Star aftermarket parts (e.g. cab, electrical components, aerodynamic devices, crash parts, etc.).
Angelique also had the opportunity to work for Daimler Truck Financial (DTF) from 2006 to 2008 as the Strategic Management Specialist in which she managed the annual strategic planning process and facilitated the organization-wide understanding of the corporate strategy through a communication plan that engaged managers and employees at all levels.
From 2004 to 2006, she worked as a Dealer Credit Administrator and a Customer Service Representative for DTF. In those positions, she strengthened relationships with dealers and end customers, and drove future wholesale business for the organization by providing daily assistance to dealers with their commercial vehicle floorplan accounts and capital loans.
From to 2003 to 2004, Angelique worked in a Chrysler Financial branch office as a Collections Representative. In this position she managed retail auto loan accounts to eliminate delinquency in order to achieve maximum customer satisfaction and to promote brand loyalty.
Prior to 2003, she held positions as the Marketing Assistant for a toy manufacturer, P&M Products (Color Workshop) and as the Entertainment Account Executive (i.e. advertising sales) for the Philadelphia Tribune Newspaper.
Angelique was an active member of the Used Truck Association (UTA) from 2010 through 2015, serving on a variety of committees, and was a Board Member of the UTA from 2014 to 2015. She has also written several industry-focused articles for the monthly UTA newsletter and has been a presenter at the UTA annual convention. She also pioneered the strategic partnership between SelecTrucks and the National Minority Trucking Association (NMTA). Angelique has been a speaker on behalf of DTNA at NMTA events including the 2015 NMTA TOP Expo Conference and the November 2015 “How to Start and Maintain a Successful Trucking
Business” training class. In September 2015, she was also interviewed as a guest on the NMTA radio show, 10-4 Radio. Angelique has also been a member of Women in Trucking since 2012.
She earned both a MBA (Marketing) and a MS (Integrated Marketing Communications) from Loyola University Chicago in 2007, as well as a BA Advertising/Public Relations from Penn State University in 2000.
Angelique is a loving wife to her husband of five years, Lawrence Pierce IV, and a proud mommy of her four-year old princess, Laurynn Moné Pierce.
