Angelica Garcia-Dunn, President & CEO of AIM Global Logistics, has worked in the Freight Forwarding & Logistics field for over 10 years. Angelica graduated from the University of Dallas with a B.A. in Economics and Spanish and also received her MBA in International Business Management with concentration in NAFTA. She has become truly knowledgeable in the transportation arena and it has become a deep passion for her. After working in financial services, she began in the freight forwarding industry and soon was the VP of National sales where she had established many business relationships with customers who all believed she could venture on her own and offer more services to her customers. Angelica is the proud mother of Isabel who is 18, Hamilton who is 16 years old and her newborn baby, Kross. She currently serves as a board member with the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. She is active in various networking venues such as WBEA & HMSDC.
In 2009 Angelica officially opened AIM Global Logistics, a new approach to the transportation industry to offer her customer base one company that can handle all modes of Transportation as a certified minority/ women owned business. Angelica’s achievement in the growth of her company was truly recognized when she received, “The Emerging Business of the Year” award presented by the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in 2012.
AIM has moved anything from a 10 pound box to over a million pounds in oil rig components. Although AIM was formed five years ago, it is the culmination of the owner’s ten years of experience as well as her staff’s combined experience of 80+ years in the transportation and logistics arena that has made the company a success. Today, AIM has progressed to a family of companies that offers a full array of logistical services.
